Peshtemals towel Soul

Peshtemals are not classic terry cloth towels, even though they are just as absorbent. Peshtemal is a towel that has been used in Turkey for the hamam (Turkish sauna, spa) or as a cover for a bed or sofa for centuries.

They are woven very tightly, densely, so they are extremely strong and durable. They have stylish handmade tassels that make them look more elegant and traditional at the same time. Because peshtemals are woven "straight", they are light and take up very little space, making them the perfect companion on our travels. They are ideal for our next holiday, you can roll them up and they are perfectly packed, they don't wrinkle and they really take up very little space.

You can wear your peshtemal as a pareo by the pool or on the beach. It can be worn draped over the shoulder or wrapped around the body - this way it simultaneously protects us from the sun's rays and wraps us in a warm hug during the evening chill. In this way, the peshtemal is popular with women as well as men. On the beaches of St. Tropez and Cannes, many stars have been spotted wearing it (think Jennifer Aniston, Steven Spielberg, Robert De Niro and Demi Moore). It is very light and airy and "feels great on your skin"!
